cosmopak launches paper pulp compact

At Luxepack New York 2022, cosmopak launched a renewable, recyclable and biodegradable paper pulp compact as part of the let's nurture packaging collection. This eco-friendly approach to the traditional makeup compact piqued the interest of several visitors searching for sustainable innovation.

cosmopak's paper pulp compact is made by combining sugarcane byproduct and MSDS, SGS and FSC certified paper fibers to enhance and strength and durability. 

To minimize water waste during production, the water used to combine the sugarcane and paper fibers is cleaned through a filtration system and reused. 

Deco options for the paper pulp compact are endless and include non-toxic water-based or soy ink that can be silkscreened, transferred or injected. The material can also be hot stamped, debossed or embossed.

Beyond the paper pulp compact, cosmopak also showcased other beautiful sustainable and luxury options in the let's nurture packaging collection including a refillable aluminum compact, aluminum tube, bright white opal glass dropper, paper pulp compact and lipstick with a ceramic outer shell. The ceramic shell lipstick offers a luxurious smooth and weighted feel similar to glass but the difference is that clay eventually breaks down and returns to the earth without releasing harmful toxins in the air.
